An apt budget friendly place for all your month end cravings which is definitely high on VFM.
Location: Can be easily located on the High Tension road in Vijaynagar amongst many other food joints like Nanking,Lemon Tree, etc.
Ambience: The place is run by North Indians and the ambience is very basic. Though the hygiene is questionable looking at the wash area and the chairs, this place can surely do much better with an uplift.
Food: The menu provides a variety of Chinese, Tandoor and North Indian options along with some combos and thali to look forward to. Also the items are reasonably priced and fits into a budget friendly category for a food outing.
The quantity of each and every dish, regardless of any section, is quite generous. I have found the chicken lollipop and the egg chilli to be my go-to options every time. The lollipop is really crispy and there is almost a sweet and spicy taste to it.

The egg chilli is hot n spicy and a chilled coke will just be a perfect combo to kick-start your weekend.

Coming to the main course, i can vouch for the Indian breads and the curries rather than the Biryani which is quite bland.

The naans here are soft and have the North Indian authenticity to them. Be careful on how much you order them in number, because you will wind up getting more than you imagined.

The curries have a unique taste to them. There is one particular item called “Patiala Chicken” which has a dual gravy combo going on garnished with a boiled egg on top. There is a mild tomato base and the other one is a spicy-herby gravy which balances out the gravy as a whole. But there is some inconsistency in the chicken pieces as sometimes they don’t have much meat in the curries.
Must Try:
- Egg Chilli
- Patiala Chicken
Service: The service here is quite slow as you will clearly see there is only a single person waiting on all the tables. Though this place doesn’t get too crowded but during the peak hours, you will surely see the difference.
Verdict:
Taste:3.5/5
VFM:4.5/5
Ambience:2/5
